WHO ARE WE

PAPERISH is a Bulgarian brand creating functional paper accessories designed for everyday use.

PAPERISH began with a friendship and with Vasilena and Militsa’s desire to create something of their own — something beautiful, distinctive, and genuinely useful. The idea evolved many times along the way, shaped by trial and error, different materials, forms, and solutions, until it gradually found its own character.

Over time, PAPERISH grew into much more than a side creative project. What remains at its core is a curiosity for design, the satisfaction of a well-made product, and the belief that every item should have a real purpose in everyday life — not simply look good.

Today, PAPERISH is led by Militsa and Georgi. They continue to grow the brand with respect for where it started, while moving forward with a clear direction — greater functionality, better design, more meaningful products, and closer attention to how they are actually used in everyday life.

To us, a good product is one you reach for every day — lightweight, comfortable, durable, and something that gradually becomes part of your everyday rhythm. This is the idea that continues to shape PAPERISH.

At the core of our products is washable kraft paper — a special material that looks and feels like paper, while being significantly stronger, more flexible, and suitable for intensive everyday use. It contains around 60–70% wood pulp, and its structure makes it resistant to moisture and tearing. It also complies with REACH requirements, while the manufacturer declares that it is free from substances such as Chromium VI and azo dyes.
